Acushnet home sale hits $1 million as Main Street dominates September activity

Acushnet recorded 31 property transfers between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, with 17 carrying a listed sale price ranging from $9,000 to $1,000,000 and a median of $557,000. The month's top sale was 28 Gammons Road at $1,000,000, sold by Andrew Seifert to James M. Fortin Jr. Main Street led all streets with six recorded transfers spanning $375,000 to $840,000. Of the 14 transfers without a price on file, most involved a grantor and grantee with matching or related surnames, suggesting trust or family transfers rather than open-market sales. With sales split roughly evenly across price tiers under $500,000, $500,000 to $750,000, and above, the data shows no clear tilt toward buyers or sellers this period.
