Acushnet sales span $120,000 to $1 million as three Main Street homes change hands

Acushnet recorded 27 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, according to Bristol County Registry of Deeds records. Sixteen sales disclosed a price, ranging from $120,000 to $1 million, with a median of $573,500. The month's top sale was 28 Gammons Rd, which sold for $1 million on Sept. 9 from Andrew Seifert to James M. Fortin Jr. Main Street recorded three separate sales during the period, the most of any street. Nearly a third of all recorded deeds involved family or trust transfers with no disclosed price, a pattern common in registry data but not a reflection of market value.
