Acushnet home sale tops $1.27 million as August deed activity includes cluster of family transfers
Acushnet recorded 32 property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 28, 18 of which disclosed a sale price. Prices ranged from $25,000 to $1,277,500, with a median of $474,000. The month's top sale was 17 Alison Drive, which sold for $1,277,500 to Domingos Adao from Moniz Properties Inc. Ten of the 32 deeds were same-name transfers into trusts, and two more moved between family members, meaning roughly a third of recorded activity was not an open-market sale. With nearly half of all transactions carrying no reported price, the data offers a limited but active snapshot of local deed activity rather than a clear read on price trends.
