ACUSHNET -- October 17, 2025, Acushnet Select Board reschedules special fall town meeting to November 3 in a session that lasted only minutes. The board convened Friday, October 17, took a single unanimous voice vote to move the date, and immediately adjourned. No discussion, no public comment, and no other business were recorded. A board member predicted at the outset that it would be "the shortest meeting in the history" of the town, a prediction that held.
