Acushnet Conservation Commission Approves Clemsway Solar, Continues Park Drive Bridge Hearing

ACUSHNET — December 11, 2025 — Acushnet Conservation Commission approves Clemsway Solar order of conditions after 18-month process, continues Park Drive bridge hearing to January. The commission unanimously approved the order of conditions and stormwater permit for the Plymouth White Solar LLC project at 1094 Main Street, known as Clemsway Solar, after applicant representative Zachary Parkes reported a full clearance letter from peer reviewer GAF Engineering issued November 19 and unanimous Planning Board approval on December 2, with the only outstanding plan change a minor stormwater spillway rerouting requested by the Planning Board to protect abutters from rare overflow events. The commission also continued the Copper Park Drive LLC hearing to January 14, with applicant Zach Strong of Sicarpa Capital agreeing to provide a full-time construction clerk for the entire wetland bridge project after commissioners said monitoring capacity was their chief remaining concern; engineer Matt Connors of Weston and Samson presented revised plans reducing wetland piles from 85 to 81 and estimating total disturbance at approximately 4,130 square feet. A third vote approved an order of conditions for a single-family home proposed by Gary Nichols on Thomas Hill Road, with a new special condition requiring a certificate of compliance within 18 months of an occupancy permit or a $250 fine.
