Acushnet School Committee Unanimously Approves Two High School Tuition Agreements
ACUSHNET — March 30, 2026 — Acushnet School Committee approves tuition agreements with New Bedford and Old Rochester, securing high school placements for town students. The committee, which does not operate its own high school, voted 5-0 on each agreement at its March 30 meeting. Superintendent Dr. Bailey presented the contracts, which cover tuition, transportation, extracurricular access, and special education services. The New Bedford agreement runs five years; the Old Rochester Regional agreement runs five years with a ten-year extension option. Both receiving districts had already approved the agreements unanimously.
