Acushnet Select Board reschedules special fall town meeting to November 3 in a session that lasted only minutes. The board convened Friday, October 17, took a single unanimous voice vote to move the date, and immediately adjourned.

Acushnet Select Board chairman announces he will not seek re-election as board approves road paving and police assessment funding. Chairman Kevin Woonah disclosed at the October 8 meeting that he will not run again in the spring, saying he wanted to give potential candidates time to organize.
